Hi there, Phil here,

I’m a seasoned web & UI/UX designer and art director with over 10 years of experience in this profession, expanding into frontend development. For the past 7 years, I’ve been working full-time in Hannover, while also running my own freelance business, where I’ve had the opportunity to take on exciting independent projects.

My work is driven by a passion for design, art, and especially nature, which I strive to incorporate into my creative process whenever possible. I believe that the best designs are those that not only look great but also feel intuitive and natural to the user.

Outside of work, I spend my time between digital and physical worlds. I enjoy playing video games and exploring the systems and design behind them.

To balance that, I practice bushcraft and survival skills and build compact everyday carry setups for both urban and outdoor environments. I value practical, well-thought-out tools and minimal solutions.

I also ride long gravel bike tours into nature. Being outdoors and covering distance helps me reset. Drawing and painting remain a constant — from graffiti to still lifes. I like experimenting with different materials and have a particular appreciation for pens and tools.
